Live Praise and Worship Christ For the Nations Institute Glorious

First, I highly recommend this Glorious CD - especially Revelation Song and The More I Seek You.  They rejuvenate my soul and Revelation Song draws me to my feet in understated awe.  So there.

Next, God is faithful and good.  Another understatetment.  All is well.  He is my ROCK, ourRock!

We are selling Cloudcroft to the Baker's, but it is more like they are adopting it as their valued treasure.  We jokingly say we are marrying it off to them which makes us cousins.  We're not losing Sunnycroft, but gaining family!  We go to pack it next week.  So many memories - weddings, engagements, Christmases, family reunions, retreats and etc.  It is truly the Lord's, a set aprt place.  What a comfort to hand it over to friends!

March 3-5 Paige and I are joining Julie and Mere at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs for a girl's weekend away!!  We will also spend one night in Julie and Oscar's new home which is actually 105 years old in the heart of Denver, Colorado - my old stomping grounds from 1960-1966!  Treasure.  My girls are my best friends.  It doesn't get any better than that.  They have all become grown ups that are taking responsibility for their lives while trusting fully in the Lord.  Thats all I ever asked for.  Thank you, Lord!  And the Lord has graced them with great and rare guys that HE hand picked.

Bill is the gift of a lifetime, day in and day out being Bill and thats more than I could have asked for.  He's faithful and true.  Now thats a treasure.  In Revelation, Faithful and True was on the banner Jesus wears as He rides in on a white horse to save the day.  I've always told my girls, you can't fully appreciate faithful and true until you've tasted deceit and disappointment.  Bill is my knight in shining armor - Jesus with skin on.

Then there is my Mom - another one faithful and true, even after a lifetime of me being a stinker and quite often a real jerk.  I'm glad she didn't throw me away.  She is still composing and performing and learning and exploring and playing Free Cell to beat the band.

And I have a wealth of the best life long friends in the world. Thankyou, Lord. Every good and perfect gift is from HIM.

Freedom.  He is freedom - for me, freedom from immobilzing fear, inhibitions, judgements, self-absorbtion, hopelessness and despair.  Man am I glad about that. Thankyou, Lord Jesus. His Word abides.  It is truth.  It is living, a sure foundation, a refuge, a hot bath, a cleansing rain, a surgical knife, a warm down blanket, loving authority that will not fail.

All is well and always will be!

New chapters unfold before us!  Yippee!

I'll write again in about 6 months!

It is a beautiful day and everyday is a gift.

We are in Cloudcroft and it is devastatingly beautiful.   Thankyou LORD!!  I am especially grateful in light of the nightmare in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.  I am praying that we as believers will rise up and lavish these folks who are suffering with the best we have and in any way we can.

Here are some juicy morsels for the day!

What would have become of me if I had not believed that I would see the LORD'S goodness in the land of the living.

Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring.  Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

                                                 Psalm 27:13-14 (Amplified)

Commit your way to the Lord (roll and repose each load of your care on Him); trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

                                                  Psalm 37:5 (Amplified)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong, vigorous and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

                                                   Joshua 1:9 (Amplified, of course)

Chew on these for a while for a burst of flavor and enjoyment, and then swallow and digest and it will become a part of our fiber we are made of.

I hope you have a delightful day completely overwhelmed by the goodness of the Lord!!

So everyone, how was your first day of classes?  As you know, I had no classes today nor will I have finals at the end of the semester.  I know, that was cruel and below the belt.  Please forgive me!  Bill (as TEXAS A&M) beat Tech tonight 55-7!!  Look out Red Raiders!  He is now playing Kansas State and beating them 7-0.  Looks like a good x-box year for A&M.  Have a wonderful evening...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's high time for some of you able fingered young whippersnappers to type in some new entries.  If you don't use it, you lose it.  So what if you need to read 2,ooo pages by tomorrow and write three papers - that can wait!!
